MY OWN EXPERIENCE WITH THE K-40

Not to long ago,i was mobile in st.johns newfoundland, and i had a president hr-2510 mobile running only 25watts into the k-40 magnamount antenna.
i had parked next to another cb at the time,he was useing a ranger rci-2950 and the famous wilson-1000 and also running 25watts.
the funny thing about this, was we both had parked next to each other, running the same rf-power and gabbing with a fellow over in england UK.
beleave this or not,but the chap in england got a better signal over there with me useing k-40 antenna than the other cb'er useing his wilson-1000, almost by a s-meter reading of 3db in the difference between the two antennas,so there you have it.
as far as im concearned, the k-40 is the best mobile antenna by far.
